I love this beer. Great Divide's Espresso Oak Aged Yeti Imperial Stout pours dark black with a cherry cream colored head that leaves a lot of lace. Chocolate and rich malt hit the nose before you even raise the glass; it's like there's something awesome in a nearby oven. The flavor is even better. Rich, bitter baker's chocolate and coffee up front, then a smooth caramel at the swallow, followed by a slightly bitter blast to finish the sip. 9.5 ABV, but it isn't there in the flavor, it's hidden by all that smooth richness. Sweet beers often wear out their welcome before I finish a 22, but this one didn't. Either my taste is changing or this is just one of the best sweet beers I've ever had.
