DuClaw bills Sweet Baby Jesus as a chocolate, peanut butter porter. It's a fairly glossy porter with a slight, mild peanut butter quality in the aroma and taste. It pours dark brown with a quick fading head. The aroma is a mild malt, maybe a little coffee, and some slight peanut butter. That slight peanut butter presence is up front in the flavor, too. There isn't much of anything on the back end. It's as though someone dropped a little bit of Cap'n Crunch into a very average porter. Maybe not a bad idea if you need to liven up an average porter. But a better idea would be to just have a better porter instead.
